A caregiver is a person who provides assistance and support to individuals who are unable to fully care for themselves due to illness, disability, or age-related issues. Caregivers can be family members, professionals, or volunteers who offer various levels of care, from basic daily assistance to complex medical support.
Education and resources are an important part of the program where speakers from the medical, first responders, legal and caregiving community provide support and helpful information that is essential for the wellbeing of the caregivers and their loved one.

Each Christmas season, in partnership with Phillip C. Showell Elementary school in Selbyville, we are given names of students in need. Students are able to request up to 5 gifts each and the requests are printed individually on tags that have been prepared by a few Social Committee members. The completed tags hang on a Holiday Tree in the foyer of the Health & Aquatic Club in late November.
Bayside residents are welcome to take 1 or 2 tags from the tree, fill out their info, and return the wrapped and tagged gifts by a designated date. The gifts that are collected are then delivered to the school in December.
For the 2025 holiday season, we collected 190 gifts for 38 students.
